Dext captures receipts. Clerai also categorizes, chases, and closes.

Dext (part of IRIS since December 2024) is built around one job: extracting data from receipts and invoices. It does that well, but a firm still needs to categorize the resulting transactions, chase clients for missing documents, and run the month-end close somewhere else.

Receipt OCR is built in, not bolted on

Clerai includes receipt OCR (vendor, date, total) and auto-matches receipts to transactions as part of the core product, starting at $39/month for up to 5 clients, alongside categorization, chasing, and close, so capture isn't a separate line item or a separate login.
